IFEBP
In-person conferences sponsored
by the International Foundation in the U.S. or Canada are eligible for
CE credit. The full educational program schedule is available here, which is sortable by date, location, title and specialty.
Only
time spent in educational sessions should be counted for credit. Meals,
breaks and other noneducational events (receptions, exhibitor/vendor
events, etc.) do not qualify.
Other educational activities eligible for CE credit include:
One CE credit hour is equal to 50 minutes of educational activity.
CEBS Courses
Completing a CEBS course in either the U.S. or Canadian curriculum beyond the courses originally completed to earn the designation is eligible for 30 hours of credit per course.
This symbol will signify International Foundation and International Society
educational activities that qualify for CEBS CE credit.
ISCEBS
Educational activities sponsored by the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS) qualify for CE credit.
In-Person Programs
Educational sessions at the ISCEBS Symposium or those sponsored by local ISCEBS chapters are eligible for 1 credit per 50-minute hour of education.
Only time spent in educational sessions should be counted for credit. Meals, breaks and other noneducational events (receptions, exhibitor/vendor events, etc.) do not qualify.
The Symposium and local chapter programs are open to members and non-members.
Reporting Activities
Regardless of which activities and program sponsors you choose, please note that you are responsible for
- ensuring that an activity’s educational content falls within the CEBS Content Domain
- calculating and reporting credits in accordance with CEBS CE policy.
